Titus 3:4-6
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
God’s kindness and love came not as a result of what we did but by his mercy.
By the washing of regeneration means our new birth, our salvation.
Verse 6 says, "Which He shed on us abundantly..." It didn't say, "He shed on us...", but, He shed on us abundantly..."
God’s kindness and love has been lavishly poured out on us. Praise God!
