OUR EVER-PRESENT HELP 2

The Holy Spirit is the key to your success. When you do not know what do, He will teach you. He can teach you anything. He can teach about life's issues, He can teach you about marriage, about your job, academics,... Praise God!

Have you been having challenges with your academics. There is sure a tutor who knows it all and it's free of charge, no bills. He can teach you and keep you ahead, even ahead of your class tutors

Psalm 119 verse 99 says,

"I have more understanding than all my teachers...."

You find yourself reading with increased understanding. You want to explain and you are explaining beyond the text book. You are wondering "What is happening? How come I know so much?

Don't ask how, just flow with Him. It's none but the Holy Spirit.

In John 7 verses 14 to 15, the Bible says,

Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

How did this happen?

Is it about your job? Maybe you are given an assignment or a project to handle, don’t wonder what to do, just submit it to the Holy Ghost. He knows what they need, He will show you exactly what should be done, and you'll find yourself working with extraordinary wisdom, wisdom beyond your reasoning.

They don't know how you did it, it's what they have been looking for, it's what they always wanted. Hallelujah!

Before long, you are promoted! Hallelujah! You have been lifted by the Holy Spirit, and in that new level He is still with you to do it again. Praise God!

OUR EVER-PRESENT HELP 1

Have you ever met someone without help?

It not too good to think or ponder on a thing like that. If you see such a person, your heart begins to yearn to help that one.

The Holy Spirit is our Helper. He came into this world to help us. We can never say we are without help. He is ever present, so there is no moment we do not have help.

He came to be with us not for sometime, but forever.

Turn to John 14 verse 16-18

And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

John 14:18 the Amplified Classic Version says,

"I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you."

He will not leave us without help.

SONS OF GOD 5

God doesn't want you to remain a babe.

Everyone wants to grow, no one wants to remain at one point all the time.

Even in your body, as a child, you want to increase your stature or physique so you can do things like those senior to you.

The same way, your spirit-man doesn't want to remain at one level. Your spirit-man wants to grow and become mature.

This senior level is where we find the elders.

He says,

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: James 5 verse14.

If you are a mature son of God, this is talking about you. You are one of those elders. Hallelujah!

The elders are not the gray-headed in the Church. No! They are those who have chewed the Word, who have mingled with the Word. Hallelujah!

When challenges come before you, don't cower, use what you have inside, draw out from the rich deposit of the Word inside you and with faith, face that challenge and win because you must surely win.

SONS OF GOD 4

We have children of God referred to as "teknon"

Galatians Chapter 4 verses 1 to 3

Now I say, That the heir, as long as He is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though He be lord of all;

But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

Child here refers to 'teknon'

When you are a "teknon", though you are a child of God, you have not been brought up. You can still be swayed and tossed by challenges.

God doesn't want you to remain a babe, He wants you to grow up into a mature son, mature in the things of God.

When you are a babe, you are tossed to and fro.

Ephesians 4 verse 14 says,

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

SONS OF GOD 3

When God chose you, He put you under training, so you can handle the position that has been bequeathed to you, the inheritance of an heir. Hallelujah!

After the training, you are ready for your office, you are ready, to take the position that we prepared for you.

You can now deal with issues, solve challenges, proffer solutions, in that office.

In this office, hallelujah, no more pains, no more colds, hallelujah, no more  fevers, because you have been trained. You are now mature. You tell it, "Get out" and it's gone. You have been trained! Hallelujah!

You are not moved by what you see, you are not moved by your bank accounts, you are trained. Glory! Only God's Word moves you.

The Bible says, in all these things, we are more than conquerors. Romans 8 verse 37.

You already know the end of the story, it's nothing else but that you won. Praise God!

You have been taught by God, you have been taught by the Word. No challenge can prevail, because you have already won. In the realm of the spirit, they are already shouting your name as the one who won. Hallelujah! And since the spirit realm controls the physical, it begins to happen here. Praise God!

SONS OF GOD 2

You know, as you study and digest the Word, your faith grows. When any trial comes before you, you chew it with that faith that you have built up. Hallelujah!

This is the life of those refered to as sons, sons of God, trained by God in the faith life and the faith lifestyle. Hallelujah!

The faith lifestyle because, it's their normal way of doing things. Any day, any time, they are faith-ready. They never succumb, never give up. They always win!

They may even tell you before they start, I know I'll win, just watch out, and it ends up that way. A continuous life of victory. Hallelujah!

If you are a mature son of God, you were not adopted like you do in an orphanage or with someone else's child. No!

This adoption means you have been chosen by God. Separated and chosen as heir, an heir of God. Hallelujah!

You are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ.

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Romans 8 verse 17

SONS OF GOD 1

Every child of God needs the Word of God to grow to maturity. You shouldn’t remain a babe for long and how fast you grow is determined by how much of God’s Word you feed your spirit-man with all the time.

When you are called a Son of God, it means you have come to maturity. This is when you are being led by God's Spirit at any time. God can talk to you, God can tell you to do something and you'll do it just the way He had said.

He gives you directions and you follow it, just as He has said.

Turn to Romans 8 verse 14

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

When you are led by God, you are a SON!

You can now be instructed by God's Spirit any time.

From the Scripture in Romans 8 verse 14, "son" is Geek, "huios". This means matured/adopted sons of God.

They have come of age. They can handle life, they can handle life's circumstances and situations. They have come of age in the things of God. There is no trial or situation that can overcome them because they have deposited so much of God’s Word into their spirit. They are loaded with the Word.

They function and live by only what the Word says now.

Chapter Four

THE PRAYER OF THE CREATIVE HUMAN SPIRIT
   Prayer is important; it not only serves as communication with God in terms of fellowship, but it also affects your life in many other ways. Prayer can shape a man's future. It will determine the kind of things that will happen or will not happen in a man's life. This is why it's important to learn to pray effective prayers that achieve results.

Prayer Gives Birth To Ideas
   Prayer is important. If you really want to bring God into your situation, you have to pray. When you pray, something happens to you. Many people don't know how and why they should pray.

   Every time you want an idea, youl1 get it on your knees in prayer. It's that time your spiritual eyes are open and you begin to see. Then, God can communicate with you through your creative spirit and something will come through. God will always give an idea. This is the key to all the things you want. So an idea from God is all you really need. With that idea, you can be, with that idea, you can get and with that idea you can have.

   You must therefore, spend time in prayer until the visions come to your spirit. You must continue to brood over those dreams, brood over those desires until you can speak the Word that will bring them to pass. When you speak the Word upon that vision you received in your spirit, it be comes a reality but only in the spirit world. It is the ideas that come to you while you are praying that will bring your vision into the material world. If you meditate upon these ideas long enough, till you are fully persuaded and they become real to you, your dreams will materialize.

   But you don't stop here. You have to go be yond praying and catching an idea. The idea must fill your thoughts and affect your confessions. The idea must be so strong in you that it becomes real to you. You must pray about these things often so you can visualize yourself in that desired position and begin to act like you are there. You have to spend more time in prayer to bring you ideas to materialization. Jesus Christ spent time praying, and every time He came down from the mounain, tremendous miracles were wrought.

Chapter 3

CREATING BY THE WORD
   When you compare the account of creation in Genesis chapter one with that in Genesis chapter two, you would come to the conclusion that after God had spoken creation into being, He went ahead to make and form them.

   After God had spoken to Abraham and Abraham believed God, and he went on calling himself "Father of many" (Abraham) and calling his wife "Mother of Princes' (Sarah), even though they had no children.

   You can imagine the expression on the faces of his neighbors and the servants in his house hold. I can just imagine them saying, "The old duo are going crazy now, imagine childless Papa Abram saying he is father of many and calling old Sarai, Mother of princes... their religion has gotten into their heads. "
But eventually according to the World of God and their continued declaration they had a child Isaac and became the father and mother of many.

When the Clouds Be Full of Rain..
Desire, when it has conceived brings forth, it happens naturally without force.

Ecclesiastes 11:3:
"If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth..."

   So when things look okay and when they don't, at all times, water your clouds!

   Some people constantly complain about their businesses, their jobs or their children. And that's because they're ignorant of the fact that they're not only watering the wrong seeds, but they're also watering wrongly. Constant complaints will bring about negative confessions, which will eventually bring forth after their kind. You can affect the future of your growing child. You can destroy the peace and tranquility in your home and marriage through your negative words.

   So start sowing the right seeds and keep watering them with your confessions and you will surely reap the right fruits.

Chapter Two

YOUR CREATIVE ABILITY
   God has put in you His creative ability; your imaginative power is your creative ability! Of all the creatures of God, only man has creative ability. Dogs cannot imagine, goats can't and no other beast can. Angels don't imagine. Man is the only one that can imagine. God has blessed you with the special gift of imaginative power. This imaginative power is your creative ability!

The Bible says in Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Then it goes on to say, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness covered the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters" (verse 2).

   God was incubating the beauty of light and creation, brooding on what the earth would look like. He desired that the earth be beautiful, that there should be light in the earth and when He had fully conceived it, God brought it forth with His Word; He spoke the beauty of the earth into being.

   When God created the world it was a result of His desire and imaginative power at work and when He finished, He called it good.

   Have a specific desire; have a clear picture of what you want in your mind. Your desire will create a strong driving force, which will cause you to speak out and achieve your desired goals. Every desire is possible; there is no impossible desire, no impossible dream gets to this world.
 
  A dream is a seed with enough life in it to cause it to come to pass, no matter what the circumstances may be. Let your dream grow.

EXCERPT 1

Chapter One

RECREATING YOUR WORLD
    Recreating your world means changing the circumstances of your life; looking at your surrounding conditions and changing them to suit you; taking yourself from a particular level of life to another.

   In Acts 1:8 Jesus said, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

   There are basically two Greek words translated 'power' in the New Testament. The first is 'EXOUSIA' this refers to delegated power which is authority, that is, the right to act for another. It is this word that is translated power' in Matthew 9:8: “But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such POWER (authority) unto men.

    It is also found in Matthew 28:18: “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power (authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth., "

    The other Greek word translated power is DUNAMIS.' This refers to inherent power; this power is capable of reproducing itself and it is from it we get the English word dynamo. A dynamo coverts mechanical energy into electrical energy and this returns in cycle. In essence and in the context in which Jesus used it, it is dynamic ability to cause changes. This is the Greek word translated power both in Luke 24:49:

    "..but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with POWER (dynamic ability to cause changes) from on high."

and in Acts 1:8:

    “But ye shall receive power (dynamic ability to cause changes), after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you..."

This is the reason you can recreate your world.

YOU AND THE WORD (PART 4)

God can't do anything in your life without His Word.  Everything He says, does, and even utters is His Word.

In John 1:1, the Bible says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." 

God and His Word are one. We can see that from the Scripture above. The Word is God and God is the Word. So whatever He does, it's the Word doing it. The Word created this earth, the Word made you. You are a product of the Word! Hallelujah! You hail from the Word! Glory to God!

Many have had their lives plagued by different challenges they never knew how they came about. They've tried different ways to put an end to the crisis of life they've experienced, to no avail.

At every point in time, you should check yourself with the Word, how have you been able to put the Word to work in your life. Is the Word being manifested in your life? Are you a doer of the Word? 

There are things that put you over in life and one of them is doing the Word. Make a conscious habit of doing the Word so you can enjoy the benefits of having the Word working in your life. Praise the Lord!

Scriptures For Meditation - October

YOU AND THE WORD (PART 3)

If you are a student, the Word can teach you your studies, it can explain Mathematics, English, Physics and Chemistry to you. The Word knows it more than the teacher or lecturer, there is more Wisdom with the Word in this area. So, better to depend on the Word in this area than the lecturer and the books. The Word is all-knowing. The Bible says, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come." John 16:13. This can also be achieved in your academics. 

He will teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance.

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance...." John 14:26.

This two Scriptures are referring to the Holy Ghost who is the Word of God.  Hallelujah!

The Bible says, "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:" 1 Corinthians 1:30. This cannot happen without the Word, our wisdom is from the Word. This makes you a wise person, you have the embodiment of wisdom in you, you should therefore not lack ideas in any area of all that you are involved in. This is how a wise person is known. It should even be more since this wisdom is coming from the Word.  Hallelujah!

YOU AND THE WORD (PART 2)

The Word is there to lead you, you cannot get direction without the Word.

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalms 119:105

 A man without the Word is a man without direction. So, to be led in life, you must have the Word with you always.

When you have the Word leading you, everything falls in place, everything about your life is balanced. Hallelujah!

The Word of God should get you excited.  David said, "I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil." Psalms 119:162.

What does the Word mean to you? How excited are you about the Word?

When the Isrealites went to war, after the war, they took with them the riches of their opponents. This is the spoil David was talking about. This was what the Word was for David. What is the Word to or for you?

For example, the Word of God is the Wisdom of God. Has the Word become wisdom to you? If the Word has become wisdom to you, you'll deal with the affairs of life wisely. Wisdom would be revealed in all that you do.

"The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple." Psalms 119:130. The Word can give understanding to a foolish person. The Word can make a foolish person wise.

YOU AND THE WORD (PART 1)

Every time you come to Church, you hear the Word, you hear it in your Cell groups, you hear it in your Church group meetings, you even study it at home by yourself. You can see the Word coming to you in different ways, you are not left without the Word.

Moreover, you are surrounded with platforms which always bring the Word to you, so you are not left without the Word.

This is because the Word is food for your spirit. 

"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:" 1 Peter 2:2.

Your spirit gets it's food and nourishment from the Word. You feed on the Word so you can grow spiritually. Lack of this would lead to malnourishment of your spirit. This affects your input, you are not able to do the things you should be doing spiritually, stagnation sets in, then you remain stagnant in the spirit realm  and since the spirit realm controls the physical, it begins to affect you physically. You are not able to do your Church chores physically. Your Church chores are your Church responsibilities, things that have been assigned to you in Church. These things begin to go down as you malnourish your spirit-man.  You become spiritually unhealthy. This is not a good state for the child God. So you have to always surround yourself with the Word. It is should form a part of your daily life.  You should be found with the Word 24/7.

YOU ARE ON A MISSION PART 4

Preaching the Gospel is not optional. It your compulsory Christian service and you have been empowered for this service.

God never made a failure. so don't think you will fail at it. Many before you have done it and won. You case isn't different. It should be from glory to glory, from victory to victory, from success to success. Hallelujah!

Take a sheet if paper and a biro or any writing material now.

Write down the places you would preach the Gospel tomorrow. It may be in the hospital, market, school  your place of work, write it down. 

Take that writing material and pray over it. By tomorrow go out and win souls. Bring them to Church and get them involved. Hallelujah!

You are a Christian on a mission. Fulfil your ministry today. Praise God!

Lift up your hands to God now and say this,

I have been called of God, and I'm fulfilling my ministry.

I am a soul winner, a soul winner to the core.

I am a life-giver.

I give life to those around me.

I thank God for my ministry today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Ezekiel 33:7-8, 

So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. 8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 

WEEKS 3&4

Ezekiel 33:9

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if He do not turn from his way, He shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul

YOU ARE ON A MISSION PART 3

2 Timothy 4 verse 8 says, 

"Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." 

So you should find out those that God has assigned to you and reach out to them with the Gospel.

Keep preaching. If you find yourself any where, keep preaching. Preach in the bus, preach in the market, preach in the hospital, preach in your class, preach in your place of work. Hallelujah! Preach everywhere! Glory to God.

If you are not there, send copies of Rhapsody there to preach on your behalf, or you send a seed on your behalf, for the sponsorship of the Gospel there. Let nothing stop you. Don’t have excuses. 

Don't see any limitations, you can do it. Paul says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13.

Say the same thing to yourself right now. 

You have been enabled by God's Spirit. This assignment came with divine enablement, divine ability. Praise God!

He says "...and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:20.

He will always be with you. He is there to help you, to put the right words in your mouth. He is there for you. Hallelujah!

YOU ARE ON A MISSION PART 2

Obadiah 1 verse 21 says

"And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's." 

You are that saviour today. 

David prayed in Psalm 67 verse 2, The Living Bible.

It says, 

"Send us around the world with the news of your saving power and your eternal plan for all mankind."

This is your mission on earth.

All you are learning in God’s Word is not for nothing. You are learning all that to have an effective and successful soul winning. 

You have a sphere of contact, have you reached those in your sphere of contact? These are people only you can reach. Those that have been assigned to you in the realm of the spirit. 

Can you say like Paul, ...I am pure from the blood of all men... Acts 20 verse 26? Or do you have the blood of many unsaved on you?

You should be able to say at the end

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:" 2 Timothy 4:7.

There is a reward waiting to be received.

YOU ARE ON A MISSION PART 1

God brought you here for a reason. He brought you here for a purpose. If you haven’t discovered that purpose, it's time to do so.

Turn to Matthew 28 verses 19 to 20

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

 Soul winning is God’s number one job. We are into the business of soul winning here on earth. 

We are here to reach out to the lost, to share the goodnews of Christ's salvation. We are here to give hope to a hopeless world. When you meet someone, you meet him with hope because there is hope in Jesus. Hallelujah!

This is what you came to do.

Turn your Bibles to Luke Chapter 4 verse 18

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised," 

This is your ministry. You have been called by God, you should therefore fulfill your ministry. 

Ìf you find a sick person, heal him. If you find one who is brokenhearted, mend his broken heart. If you find a poor person, give him the Gospel of salvation.

You are a saviour!

4 Excerpts from Chapter 1

Excerpt 4

The Significance Of God’s Test

God wanted to prove Abraham, and He said to him, “… Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offier him there for a burnt offiering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of” (Genesis 22:2).

It is possible for God to test you, though He will never tempt anyone with evil (James 1:13). At this time Abraham had the son of promise by the name Isaac. Abraham obeyed God, and took Isaac up to the mountains of Moriah. When they got there he bound the boy, and put him on the wood, and was ready to slay him when God spoke out of heaven, calling out to Abraham to stop. God said, now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me” (verse 12), and provided a ram for him for the sacrifice.

God saved the boy and the Bible declares that in the mind of Justice, Abraham actually offered his son and got him back in a figure representing the resurrection of Christ.

Hebrews 11: 17-19: “By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offiered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offiered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.”

Do you know that in the same way Abraham was willing to give his only son, his best to God, God gave His best, His Son Jesus for the world (John 3:16). The mountains of Moriah upon which God told Abraham to offer his son up, are the same mountains upon which the Lord Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world. That is how significant God‟s test of Abraham was.

There are some things that God may ask you to give as an act of faith. Some people will proclaim their willingness to do anything for God, that is, until He actually asks them to do it. Some will make pledges and will not fulfill them. And when a preacher talks about money they turn around to say, “I don‟t like preachers who talk about money.” Well in case you don‟t know, Jesus talked about money. God talked a lot about money in the Bible.

As a result of Abraham‟s obedience, God said to him, “But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offiered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,” (Hebrews 11:16-17).

Isaac was the son of his old age; he was not an adopted son. Unlike a lot of people, Abraham was not trying to give second best, or give a worthless thing. It is only this type of giving that receives a reward. Abraham trusted God. And God said, “And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice”.(Genesis22:18).
