Psalm 23:2
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
Verse 2a - He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:...
He causes me to rest in prosperity and abundance. Notice, you are not standing but resting in green pastures, green pastures not dead pastures which signifys abundance and prosperity. You are not labouring or toiling night and day to be rich, you are in abundance. Praise God!
Let it dawn on you that God has made available all that you need for a glorious and beautiful life and future. Never again should your focus on men for prosperity and riches but on God.
Verse 2b- He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He leads you in quietness
Isa. 30:15, For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
In quietness and in confidence is where your strength is. In that quiet state is where strength is wrapped in.
