Scripture Dose

 2 Peter 1:19

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

When everything else shakes, only that Word will remain the same. Thus, you have to hold on to it tightly.

When things don’t go the way you planned, don’t say, “Lord, what’s happening to me?” No! Instead, lay hold on the sure Word of prophecy that has been declared concerning you.

Pay attention to God’s Word, as you would do to a flicker of light in a dark place. The more you meditate on the Word, the brighter that light gets. Soon enough, that light will envelope your entire being, and the darkness will disperse

God’s Word is surer than anything in this world. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away” (Matthew 24:35). That challenge that seems insurmountable only “came to pass”; it will surely pass away and only the Word of God will remain.
