Psalms 23:5
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Verse 5 - "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: ..."
Do you have enemies? The Bible says to love your enemies, (Luke 6:27). So you do not have enemies. Anyone who therefore makes himself your enemy fall into that Scripture.
A feast is prepared for you in their presence. Praise God. God celebrates you in their presence.
"...thou anointest my head with oil;"
The anointing of God is on you. You have been anointed by God.
1 John 2:27 says, "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."
The anointing of God rests on you and will teach you all things.
Jesus was anointed for good works, Acts 10:38. You are also anointed for good works.
Good works - Healing the sick, casting out devils, raising the dead....
Put to work the anointing you have received of Him around you. Heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, perform miracles in the Name of Jesus.
Mark 16:17 says And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Praise God!
