2 Corinthians 9:9
(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; He hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
The Amplified Version says,

As it is written and forever remains written, “He [the benevolent and generous person] scattered abroad, he gave to the poor, His righteousness endures forever!”
