YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO GIVE
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none: but such as I have given I thee: In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength (Acts 3:6-7).
A few weeks after the ascension of Jesusm Peter and John were going into the temple at the hour of prayer when they met a lame man who had been laid at the temple gat everyday. Prior to this time. Peter must have seen the man on at least two occasions when Jesus was still physically with them. We can deduce this because he had gone with Jesus into that temple. However, Peter didn't just walk past the impotent man this time but said to him, "Look on us" (Acts 3:4). The man gave them his attention, expecting to receive alms, but Peter didn't have any money on him at the time.
Notice that Peter didn't say, "Such as God has, give I thee." He said "Such as I have give I thee...." Peter knew he had something to give the man! He then said, "In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." He made a demand on the Name of Jesus and a miracltook place. Peter knew he had the Name of Jesus, and that he had eternal life which he could transmit into the man's body.
You can bless the world with the Name of Jesus and the life if God in you. When you make a demand on that Name miracles take place. Your hands are not empty; they are divine instruments through which eternal life flows!
You're distributor of eternal life. That's the reason Jesus said you shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover (Mark 16:18).
