Romans 8:8
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
If you are in the flesh, you cannot please God.
Hebrews11:6 says, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
So those that are in the flesh do not have faith and therefore cannot please God.
But thank God we are not in the flesh (Romans 8:9) and we have faith (Romans 12:3)
